Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. (Psalms 37:5 KJV)
Some days our faith amounts to less than a mustard seed and we start to drown in the endless pool of worries and uncertainty. This is because we so easily forget who is in control of our lives. Remember Moses who argued with God, using his own insecurities and inabilities to pass up work that God had prepared for him. What happened in the end? God equipped him every step of the way. When God called Moses he wasn't a man of big faith nor was he the purest human being. He killed a man and fled! He had all the reasons in the world to worry about his future. But no matter how much he doubted or worried, God's faithfulness did not waver at all. God's promise to him was true throughout. No matter how much we worry, how much we doubt, how many times we forget that it is God who is in control, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Wherever we are now, be it in army or in school, remember this. If God has placed you wherever you are, He definitely can equip you for the obstacles ahead. Have no fear because He has said in His word that if we commit our ways to Him, He will bring it to pass. He will make our paths straight. He will be with us all the way.
Nothing we do will change who God is. Even when we are weak and fragile and so caught up in the world, He is still all-powerful, almighty, all-sovereign. This is the God we serve. Even when we fail to have confidence in ourselves and we doubt what we do, have confidence in our good God. And because feelings are fleeting and situations throw us about, hold on to His word. That should be the anchor. And we will sail through more than fine.
We will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
