And it was good
There was a perfect world. No hatred, no anger, no jealousy, no pain, no sadness. There was a perfect world, where God and man had the perfect relationship. In His likeness, we were made. In His image, we were made. This separated us from the other creations. We had God inside of us. We have God inside of us. After creating a world, and then creating man to rule over all the other creations, God said it was "very good". There wouldn't be a "good" if there wasn't "bad". The standard had been set. If we had seen the perfect world, what would today's world mean to us? If we have experienced the perfect love, why are we still chasing after things to satisfy ourselves? There is a standard. There is a contrast. We just need to realize it.
