Our emotions can take control over our decisions. Decisions for the day- whether we should back out of an appointment with a friend, how we respond to uncomfortable remarks, whether we want to talk to a friend or not. So sometimes, our emotions affect our relationships. So sometimes, our relationships are dependent on our emotions. But it shouldn't be the case. Because love is not a feeling. Then why is it so many times our relationships suffer because of how we feel? But this is me now: my inconsistent relationships are throwing all sorts of emotional tantrums in my head, causing me to have bad feelings towards the relationships. So maybe emotions don't control our relationships, but our relationships control our emotions. And however our relationships turn out to be depend on the decisions we make.
There's not Point A, Point B. It's just this.
Take control when you should, and make the decision to lose control when you should.
I believe that we have choices. We can decide to react to situations differently. Our emotions are not an excuse nor are they unavoidable. It's really all about discipline.
Humans are smart. We have control over these things, it's just a matter of whether we want to or not.
