I no longer believe in a straight line, but I see that life is made up of a network of veins. The people we meet, the decisions we make, the beliefs we keep as we sail along the blue veins. Like the blue ocean, the possibilities are endless. What we should never do is to look back and ask, what if?, because the currents will pull us forward. And if we go against the currents and turn back, we might end up shipwrecked. But the beautiful thing about these veins is this: God exists outside of these veins, even though He is very much in the center of it all. He exists outside our timeline, even though He is in every second of every day. And knowing this, it doesn't matter which vein we sail through, because He is there, in every single path. In our mistakes, in our obedience, in our shipwrecks. Sail with a peace of mind, knowing that God is here. Our only constant.
