The heart is a giant knot

The heart is a giant knot. Every time a new emotion hits you, it releases a new vein. The good feelings come from one end, the bad, the other. Soon they meet and tangle and cause an intersection where you cannot really tell if you should be happy or sad. This is why you can feel both at the same time. When you fall in love, a thick vein crosses all these tiny emotions, because it comes fierce, it comes heavy, it comes to overlap and erase everything else. And when you fall out of love, when you get your heart broken, it’s really another thick vein, perhaps thicker, weighing heavy leaning and suppressing this one. Love will always be there. But pain overrules. And you can never feel love without your pulse hit the one that comes with pain. So your heart keeps beating. And the veins are interlocked and stuck. And every time a pulse flows through love, it hits pain. And every time a pulse flows through pain, it hits love. And we believe that the only way to heal, is to find a different kind of love, so big so great so heavy that it rests on top of these many tangled lines and allows your blood to flow through smoothly. It would be so big that it would keep your body functioning without much effort. It would be so easy. And pain would be so small. And if you exercise this new love enough, pain would feel so light, so light, that it would soon fade away.
